Q: How do I order and pay for a saddle?
A: I do not expect anyone to order a saddle without talking to me first. We can have that converstaion via email or by phone. It is important for us to discuss your horse's needs, your needs, your wants. After I come to know what you want, and you come to trust me, and order is placed. We get your horse's measurements, pictures and your measurements. You can pay for your saddle via Paypal, with a credit card, or you can pay for your saddle with a money order or even a personal check. There has to be an element of trust, because I require full payment before I order your saddle. But I hope you can see the many satisfied customers who have bought saddles and have some feeling of comfort.

Q: Will you give me references of people who have purchased saddles?
A: Not only will I give you names and emails of people who have bought saddles, I will give you names of people who ordered saddles and were not satisfied for one reason or another and received a refund.

Q: Are these saddles made of real leather?
A: Absolutely! Our saddles are hand made of high quality, excellent leather from Colombia.

Q: What type of tree do you use?
A: We use a wooden tree, wrapped in rawhide and sun cured. The bars follow the shape of a gaited horse's back. Gaited horses do not have a back that needs a twist in the saddle. A "trotting horse" uses a tree with a "twist" in the bars to follow its shape. Some have compared the Wade tree to the Colombian tree. Q: Why are your saddles so inexpensive?
A: It has been my desire to offer a quality saddle for a price most people can afford. I do not have a "store front." So, my overhead is very low. I don't keep a lot of inventory, as most of my sales are special orders. I do not have any employees. My profit margin is not what a retail store would need. I want you to have what I have found: a great saddle for a great price.

Q: How long will it take to get my saddle?
A: Under normal circumstances, it takes 4to 6weeks to deliver the saddle to your door.

Q: Can I choose a different color for my saddle?
A: Yes, you can. Color, in the medium of leather, is very fickle. Since these saddles are not made on an assembly line or in a factory, the color can vary slightly.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: When you receive your saddle, you have a few days to try it on your horse and "check it out." If for any reason you do not want your saddle, you may return it for a refund or an exchange. You will pay for shipping costs both ways. Shipping costs are not refundable. There is also a 5% restock fee, if you use a credit card to pay for your purchase. If you use a check or money order, the refund is 100%, less shipping costs.

Q: Is there a guarantee on your saddles?
A: Yes. There is a THREE year warranty on the saddle tree and workmanship. The guarantee is voided, if the saddle has been abused or not properly maintained (oiled, cleaned under normal use).
