Purchase: I purchased this saddle from Sycamore Creek
Saddlery. It was a custom order to fit my horses back. It is
absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. My horse, Sancho,
kept shaking his head after we were riding a while. I had tried
a Big Horn synthetic, then I tried a round skirt 1950's model
of unknown origin that has fit any horse I ever owned and it
is round skirted. Even that didn't work. When I got this saddle,
I took Sancho out and didn't know what to expect. Here the head
shaking stopped and he went like he could go all day. Have used
it since and he loves it and so do I. It is a very comfortable
saddle.
Likes: It is lightweight - very easy for me to lift.
Has a memory foam seat - very comfortable. It is suited to my
horse.
Dislikes: nothing
Quality: This saddle is made from top quality leather.
The style is unique and I especially like the rigging. Keeps
the saddle very secure. It comes with a crupper, but I don't
feel this is necessary to use at all. But a good addition if
you live in mountain country.
Summary: If you need a secure saddle that fits a gaited
horse, this would be the best investment you could buy.
