Purchase: I had previously purchased a saddle from Tony at Sycamore Creek. Since my saddle did not fit a new horse, I needed a new saddle. Tony was fabulous to do business with last year; I knew with whom I was going to do business with for a new saddle for my new TWH mare. I paid $490 plus $32 shipping for the saddle.

Likes: I have had this saddle for only a week. I have ridden it 5 times so far. I absolutely love it. It fits my mare like a glove. As for me, I had a nasty accident a few months ago. It has left every other saddle very uncomfortable. I was leery with this saddle. Much to my pleasure, it is the most comfortable saddle I have had the pleasure to ride in. I rode for an hour tonight. My mare spooked hard at a deer. I did not move in the saddle. The quality and construction are of the highest. I love the preturned stirrups. No more ankle/knee pain. It came with a crupper and girth. I don't use the crupper and the girth was too small for my mare. The looks of this saddle are remarkable. It is a great looking and comfortable saddle.

Dislikes: NOTHING!

Quality: The quality and construction of this saddle are of the highest. The leather is soft and supple. The seat is well padded. The underside is smooth leather that is easy to clean. The saddle is simple and clean looking. It doesn't have the fancy, intricate tooling to detract from its clean lines. It is a safe and functional saddle that is well suited for spending many hours on the trail. The seat is very deep. The stirrups are forward hanging without putting the rider in a chair seat. My horse moves well. My fanny is happy. What else is there to say!

Summary: If I ever need another saddle, I am coming back to Tony. He is amazingly patient and fun to do business with. I highly recommend CTK saddles. Well worth the money. The price is low, but the quality is not. Tony guarantees the fit to both horse and rider. Well worth the chance. You will not be disappointed.
