If you want the heavier, all metal stirrup, you must ask for it. The older style, leather covered aluminum
stirrup will be used as a default stirrup. There is no upcharge for the new stirrup.
Made from aluminum, and electrostatically painted, this new style of stirrup will be used on all
our saddles. The stirrups, used for saddles with wide stirrup leathers, weigh 2-1/2 pounds each. The ones
used for the saddles with narrow leathers, weigh a little less than 2 pounds each. All are pre-turned,
so it is always facing forward. A rubber pad, for cushioning and security, is galvanized into the bottom
of the stirrup. This stirrup can also be bought a la carte for $60/pair.
