When my daughter came home with her mommy from the movie SPIRIT, she said, "Daddy, can we buy a pony?" Of course, I said, "YES!" We lived in a subdivision with a tenth of an acre. I told her we were going to buy a horse, not a pony. I must have ridden a dozen horses in my search. All of them were just too big. I got online and searched for horses 15 hands and under. The words Paso Fino kept coming up. I had no idea what that was. After a little more research, I discovered the wonderful breed that has now taken over our lives.

Our first two boys were not registered, and we still don't care. Our other three are registered, and we still don't care. All we know is we love them.
